Sustainability and Innovation Awards for Young and Emerging Researchers

Encouraging scientific excellence, fostering innovation, and promoting a strong research culture among students and early-career researchers.

In conjunction with the International Conference on Sustainable Innovation in Engineering (ICSIE 2026), the Organizing Committee is pleased to launch the Sustainability and Innovation Awards for Young and Emerging Researchers. This initiative aims to encourage scientific excellence, foster innovation, and promote a strong research culture among students and early-career researchers.

The competition will be organized across all twelve conference tracks and will include two major award categories:

Category 1: Graduate Students and Early-Career Researchers Award

This category is dedicated to Master's students, PhD candidates, and recent graduates who contribute to scientific research within the conference themes.

Category 2: Undergraduate Research and Capstone Projects Award

This category is dedicated to undergraduate students participating in research projects or graduation projects related to the conference tracks.

For each conference track, three winning awards will be granted in each category, based on evaluations conducted by specialized committees of experts and reviewers.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be listed as an author or co-author of a paper submitted to ICSIE 2026.
  • Submit and obtain acceptance of their paper through the regular conference review process.
  • Register for the conference.
  • Personally present the paper during the conference (either in-person or virtually).
  • Complete and submit the official competition application form.

Application Procedure

After submitting their conference paper, applicants should download the competition application form from the conference website and provide the following information:

  • Paper ID number.
  • Paper title.
  • Student or graduate name.
  • University or institution.
  • Award category (Graduate Studies or Undergraduate).
  • Conference track under which they wish to compete.

The completed application form should be submitted to the Award Committee through the designated email address available on the conference website.

Awards and Recognition

Winners will be announced during the official conference ceremony and will receive:

  • An Excellence and Innovation Award Shield.
  • An Official Certificate of Recognition.
  • A symbolic monetary prize or gift.
  • Formal recognition during the conference closing ceremony in the presence of international guests, researchers, and participants.

Through this initiative, ICSIE 2026 reaffirms its commitment to supporting the next generation of researchers, innovators, and future leaders who will contribute to sustainable development, scientific advancement, and technological innovation worldwide.

Applicants wishing to participate in the ICSIE 2026 Sustainability and Innovation Awards Competition are kindly requested to download and complete the official application form and submit it to the Award Committee via the following email address: icsie@yu.edu.jo

The completed form should include the paper ID, paper title, applicant's name, university or institution, award category (Graduate Studies or Undergraduate), and the conference track under which the applicant wishes to compete.
